Self-portrait - Adobe Illustrator
Using Illustrator I had created a cartoon self-portrait.
1.) I had first, taken a picture of myself using 'Photo Booth' on the iMac.
This is the photo that I had taken and used for the editing.
2.) I then started to transform my self-portrait into a cartoon by using the 'Pen Tool'.
After Selecting the 'Pen Tool' I then started to select the outline of my face for a background layer.
3.) Once I had selected all of my face I had then used the 'Eyedropper Tool'. To fill in the selected outline.
I had then used and taken a sample of my skin tone to fill in the selected area, to make it similar to my skin tone.

I had then used and taken a sample of my skin tone to fill in the selected area, to make it similar to my skin tone.
4.) After filling in the selected area of my face, I had then done the same for every other individual feature in my face. Including: Hair, Eyes, Ears, Nose, Mouth and Neck.
5.) Once I had filled in the basic features I then added more detail in the face. I had selected and filled in light toned areas within my face.
6.) When finishing the texture of my face I then moved onto outlining and filling in certain elements of my clothing that are shown in the photo.
