Sector – The marketing of the product is the most crucial element in the films purpose. The distribution of the film is important, because of it being the financial aspect of the film's production.

Working Title – Promotion Day

Genre: Drama/ Thriller/ Dark Humour

Intended audience and age – This film is for the audience that are interested in Drama, Thriller and Dark Comedy. The age rating that would be suitable for this film would be 18, due to the graphic violence which would be displayed in this film.

Audiences that like these certain titles: ‘Fight club, American Psycho and Falling Down’, would be interested in ‘Promotion Day’.

Summary of content - The film plot of 'Promotion Day', involves the story of an office worker that has anger issues, and is going insane because of having the same constant routine in his everyday life.

Through the film, it will portray the Antagonist going through his regular day and will gradually show his mentality state. Involving different situations he comes across and ends up going rogue.

By the end of the film he had murdered various people that had encountered. He ends up killing people with in his work placement, over certain things they have done. After his outbreak he begins to realise what he has done and if he is imagining it all or if it is even real.

Summary of style - The film will have a comic book style towards the theme of the film. The poster will show the element of it having a comical theme.

Legal and ethical considerations - Age rating 18/ non- racism/ non-sexual preferences/ non - sexism.

The purpose of a film poster is to deliver an idea of the film, genre and who's involved in the film and to sell the film.

Film Poster sketches

 The ideas that I had in mind for my poster was to try and create a good visual layout and to create a visual effect which would display certain elements from the film.

 Including the antagonist which is referred as the main character in the film. I also thought of having the visual idea of the main character wearing is office work outfit; shirt and tie.

For the genre and style of the film I thought of implementing a weapon and blood to portray that there's violence in the film, and to show that theres darkness in the film. I also thought of the use of the title of the film to portray a certain style.

This was one sketch Idea I had for  a cover for my poster or DVD sleeve. I thought of the use of iconography to signify the film. 

I thought this would connect with the dark humour of the film, with the use of psychism.  And referencing the violence in the film with displaying blood splatter on the coffee mug.

This was another sketch Idea that I had created for the film poster. It has a reference of violence and the aspect of the film being based upon the main environment of being an office room, with the use of a work tie and shirt (which is worn by the Antagonist).
